This portfolio gives an on-site as to who I am, my passion for my major, my drive for my career path, and a few opportunities that IUPUI has given me to further my education.

For this project, I worked alongside mentors to increase the Indianapolis community presence of our Spanish program and its current students/alumni. Through my work in the program, I have been able to reach out to the community to strengthen ties be ... tween IUPUI and surrounding Latinx / Spanish-speaking organizations. As a result of our work with the CEA program, organizations can receive oftentimes much-needed assistance through internships while our students earn valuable experience and community connection. Additionally, the internship program offers real-world language and culture experience to students who may only have classroom experience. It is beautifully, mutually beneficial. Read more

Two deliverables from policy briefs that were created over the academic year in collaboration with coworkers at CRISP.

The Adapted Movement Programs increase physical activity for adults and children with disabilities through individualized activity plans and one-on-one pairing with IUPUI students. As a CEA, my tasks include supervising student-client interactions, u ... pdating the AMP Facebook and Instagram accounts, and helping with clinic organization. New this year, Jadon Mehringer and I designed a sensory space that is being utilized during our children's Motor Activity Clinic. Our sensory space features several pieces of equipment intended to decrease anxiety and overstimulation while increasing focus and engagement. Read more
